Elizabeth glances behind them when her companion’s attention shifts in that direction, also curious as to whether Faith would decide to tag along or if he planned to take his leave. I don’t understand, why would he refuse to get involved with The Kindred, despite Kain, they’re known as warriors for good amongst all Non-Humans… If his agenda fits theirs, why the lack of trust? Her quizzical eyes settle on the agent of light lingering behind them, motionless, and the sweet sanguinist gives him an encouraging smile and a coxing wave of her hand, “come with us, if only for a short time, if you still feel that it is the wrong choice after you meet them… I will not prevent you from leaving.”
She then turns her gaze back to her friend, green eyes sparkling happily and her arm still looped loosely around his. How nice it is to have someone to call friend, not many Non-human’s could claim such a luxury. Business, focus on business for now, no time for socializing Elizabeth, “I think, with a power like Vikrcop involved in The Order of the Eye’s endeavors, the danger of their plan to destroy the veil coming to fruitition has increased tenfold. Not to mention, if they’ve recruited somebody like Vikrcop, God only knows what other powerful allies they have. Our purpose is to protect the veil, perhaps we have all been slacking off on our responsibilities… In all honesty I too am a bit guilty of pursuing me own cause as of late… Outside of The Kindred… Perhaps this is punishment for a lack of devotion… And yes, I am grateful that we get to work together again too Lucas, it has been too long friend.”

Lucas stares into the eyes of his friend for a few moments, now ignoring the retreating figure of Faith behind them as he remains firmly rooted to the spot whilst both Kindred warriors take their leave. His expression remains frozen, unsure what to say next, emotions such as those welling to the surface of his psyche being difficult to process. Something had been eating away at the Kindred member for some time and now he felt as if he should say something. He walks next to Elizabeth until they have retreated somewhat from the main road and back into the shadowy confines of Central Park. He nods to himself, seemingly coming to a decision. Lucas’ face has taken on a serious cast and his bright blue eyes turn into two piercing points of light in the gloom. Elizabeth shifted uneasily from the intensity of his staring.
There’s something I need to tell you and it’s important that you know this. You know I’m more secretive than your usual individual but this affects more than me and could influence our friendship. So I must apologise in advance for not having told you sooner.
The Vampire frowns in response to Lucas’ words. He cannot tell whether this is in annoyance or not or in concentration of listening intently to what he has to say. Either way, Lucas puts such thoughts to the back of his mind and he takes a deep breath.
You need to understand the nature of the spirit that resides within me. You’ve heard me refer to it as an agent of Justice and a spirit I call forth to vanquish demons but that is not the true nature of the entity. It is in truth a Demon of light. Such things were created before the veil began to thin and they waged a war against Demon-kind. Some rumours allege that God himself called forth holy warriors in demon form to fight them from within. Either way, we know of only two that were held in the deep recesses of hell and tortured. The first is Justice, and the other is Faith.
Lucas pauses in his recanting as he clears his throat. He motions to Patrick, the human in which Faith resides to make it obvious to his compatriot that he is the man to which Lucas is referring to. She nods in understanding and she inches forwards.
They broke through the veil in the same moment because they are bound to each other, two halves to a single whole. The night my parents were slain by the demon was when it started. Justice told me that my anger and grief at Demon kind caused an echo into its prison from our world and allowed it to focus onto me. And in a moment of intense emotion it used my life energy to escape. But when it did, I was mortally wounded and I would have died were it not for the Demon.
After that he and I came to an agreement to vanquish as much evil as we could so it could use me as a host and keep me alive at the same time. The problem is though, every time Justice takes over my body and small amount of its power fades. Eventually, when Justice becomes too weak it will have to find a new host and I will die. That moment could be sooner that I had first envisaged. That was why I left New York. I was trying to find a way to strengthen the Justice demon, give me a few extra years. I’m not entirely sure how it works or how long I have but the spirit of vengeance is weakening.
Lucas stops talking to allow his words to sink in. He hangs his head in shame for having kept it secret for so long. It felt liberating to finally reveal the truth to the only person who he could call a friend. Patrick had been nothing more than a respected rival. He looked up into her vampire eyes to see if he could see any trace of emotion there.

“Yes you’ve always been rather myst-“
She can’t stop it, as soon as the word ‘die’ flutters free from its cage a torrent of painful emotion whirls within the confines of her body, and destroys all rational thought. A flood of silent tears spills over her thick lashes and she steps back from her friend, “how… how could you… WHY?!?! WHY WOULD HE SAVE YOU ONLY TO KILL YOU?!?!”
In a flurry of emerald tresses she turns away from Lucas, shaky hands working to clear the lipid diamonds from her cheeks. Beth fought desperately to steady her voice, she wanted so desperately to gaze upon his face again, but she couldn’t stand the sight. The little vampire couldn’t explain why, but she suddenly felt utterly abandoned, like she had somehow already lost her friend. The sweet sanguinist couldn’t bear the thought of losing another she cared for so deeply, it seemed to her that it was an unavoidable side effect of immortality, “why couldn’t you have told me sooner… How long have you known?”
The normally effervescent female finally faces her friend again, her pale face glistening, “I’m sorry, it isn’t fair of me to react the way I did, I’m sure you’re not pleased by this development, but there must be something we can do…. Haven’t you found anything, learned anything about Demon Possessions in your journeys?”
She secretly wondered if he would ever allow her to change him. Elizabeth had never considered it before, but it was never a necessity for his survival before…

Lucas looks away for a second and takes a couple of steps into the deeper shadows in an effort to compose his thoughts. He looked at the radiant vampire, her thousand years of life having done nothing to alter her face or the beauty that permeated from it. He nodded once resolutely to himself.
I don’t know much but I can share with you all that I can. I always knew that the Demon couldn’t sustain me forever. An evil demonic possession cares nothing for its host, in fact it welcomes the destruction of the human it inhabits because it enjoys torment from having their host watch themselves commit atrocities. Sometimes demons prefer that to killing, the emotional effects of it. But in the last few years those who have been possessed before are being killed off. This is new information even to me and it looks as if it’s tied in with their plan to break open the veil.
Lucas pauses and he walks back to the Vampire. He takes a seat on the grass and invites her to do the same, getting his thoughts clear in his head, not only about what to tell Elizabeth, but also what they should do next to tackle the oncoming storm. Certainly, it was too big for the two of them to tackle alone.
The Justice Demon is different though. It is using its own life energy to sustain mine and every time it takes over my body a little more of its strength is sapped until it finds a new host. It requires another life energy to hold it in balance so it can exist inside me. Were I not mortally wounded, it could live inside me forever but since my strength fails, so does the Justice spirit. Regular demons work in a similar way but they seek total dominion over their hosts and that takes a lot more strength and will. As such, demon possessions are typically very short in comparison to the dormant role that Justice takes in me for great lengths of time. The only way that I have found to lengthen my life is to find a way to cure what is killing me. It might be possible to restore the Justice Demon’s energy but my search has found nothing. For all I know though is, I could last another fifty years or as little as five. One thing is certain, I have lived longer than I have left.
Lucas stops talking, hoping this answers some of the burning questions that were cast to him. He watches her facial expressions hoping to gain some insights into the thoughts that must be building up inside the recesses of her mind.

Elizabeth flops numbly onto the ground beside him, the dewy caress of the grass on her clammy flesh is soothing, and she finds herself growing more placid. The Vampire’s hand absent mindedly rests upon her friend’s leg, more for her own comfort than his, and she stares forward into the shadowy foliage. For the moment she felt the need to marinate in the information he was presenting to her and silently file the information as well as the emotions whirling within her into their rightful places. The nausea that had been building up in Beth’s twisting stomach is stifled and she chases away the remaining vagrant streams that loiter on her visage.
Finally, Elizabeth levels her sea foam orbs with his, a sad expression etched on her features, “thank you, for sharing with me… I know it must have been hard for you, considering how reserved you can be, and I adore you all the more for your honesty. “
Her expression becomes stern, “everything is going to be alright, no more fear or anticipation.”
The sweet sanguinist’s hand jerks away from her comrade’s stem and she claps both of her palms down on her pale thighs, “yes! Everything will be fine! The fates are on our side, the side of good, and all will be well. We’ll figure out a way to restore the Demon’s energy, I’m sure of it… Perhaps we can pay Frank The Crank a visit! He may know something, after all, he has all sorts of characters walking in and out of Sanctuary on a regular business… And we’ll handle Vikrcop too, though… I have to admit that Faith may be right about Kain after all… He’s a bit of a hot head and before I left he was talking about seeking out Vikrcop.”

Lucas listens to what the Vampire has to say, nodding every now and then to make it obvious to his counterpart that he is listening and registering what she has to say. After Elizabeth has finished talking her fellow Kindred member clears his throat in the intermittent silence. Lucas seems to gather his thoughts before he decides to respond.
Perhaps we can find some answers and I intend to find a solution to this problem if there is one to be found. I’m not sure we should be placing our hope in someone who goes by the Pseudonym Frank the Crank. Somehow that doesn’t evoke the image of someone possessing secrets into the mysteries of the cosmos.
As Lucas finishes speaking, a sudden sensation fires through every synapse in his frame. His body stiffens as is he has been hit by an electric shock and his face grimaces from whatever forces has taken over the entirety of his muscular frame. In his mind’s eye, images appear and the horrible feeling spreads over him in waves. He can see the face of a girl, no older than fifteen and it is twisted in a look of horror as if some malevolent force has tortured her beyond sanity. Her screams reverberate inside Lucas’ skull and this only confirms what this means. Just as quickly as it began, the sensation passes and he drops to the ground. Beads of sweat have broken out on his forehead and Lucas’ breathing has become shallow and rapid. Elizabeth has risen to her feet from the shock of what she has just witnessed, another unexpected event having transpired in as many minutes. It takes a few moments for Lucas to recover enough to get his words straightened in his head.
I think it might be a good idea to get moving and talk to the Kindred. Something is happening; something big and I can’t begin to piece together what it all means.
Elizabeth stays firmly rooted to the spot after her fellow Kindred member makes a motion for both of them to begin walking in haste. She crosses her arms, inaudibly demanded an explanation for what she just saw.
Look, I don’t know everything myself but sometimes when true evil is out in the world, their acts are broadcast outwards, almost like a vision. Not everyone receives the signal but typically those who have been or are possessed by demons see the acts of their brethren. How do you think I’m so Johnny on the spot all the time? But this was different. The touch of evil was much stronger and it can only mean bad news.
Lucas nods his urgency at the Vampiress and takes her by the hand before half dragging her back to the street. She pulls him up short, an inquisitive look on her face that speaks volumes. It informs Lucas that he still hasn’t done enough to satisfy her queries. His shoulders fall in resignation knowing that this time he won’t be able to get away with reticence and since he has now shared his most intimate secret he could not bring himself to hide any more truth from her.
From the taint of evil I think it could be one of the first demons ever born.
His blank expression is all that is left in the wake of his announcement.

“Haha, he doesn’t actually go by that name, that’s just what most of us call him… Since he’s such a cantankerous old man, but I suppose you may be right… I just thought that perhaps he may have heard something from some of the other Demon possessed that may have wandered into his store. How do you plan to-” her eyes grow wide in surprise as Lucas suddenly goes rigid and it is almost as if his consciousness has momentarily transported to another place. Elizabeth squeaks in surprise when he collapses to the ground and she assists her friend to his feet again. The Vampiress did her very best to accept his explanations for what just happened, allowing her comrade to tug her along toward the street and out of Central Park, but without knowing what he just saw she felt out of the loop, “what did you see exactly Lucas?”
However, when he stops again, slumping forward and staring into her eyes emotionlessly she immediately becomes silent. At first, his words flutter in her head like a swarm of panicking moths, searching for something to grab onto and she cannot seem to understand the importance of what Lucas said. Finally, it clicks and she grabs onto his hand again, “let’s go. NOW.”
The Sweet Sanguinist tugs him along and when they reach the street Elizabeth turns to Lucas, “Do you have a car?”

Lucas’ steps have a renewed urgency to them as he begins running down the street. He can hear the loud footfalls of the Vampire behind him, rushing to keep pace with the Kindred member. His face has taken on a serious cast as his pace quickens yet again. Lucas hears Elizabeth’s question of transportation thrown to the back of his head as he continues walking, taking his counterpart to an undisclosed destination. He ignores her query for a few minutes as he races to a busy intersection. The traffic thunders by as the demon-possessed individual presses the button to allow him to cross the road safely. As he waits for the traffic lights to change he stamps his feet impatiently, drawing more than a few looks from his fellow pedestrians.
I have a vehicle we can use but we have to hurry. If this vision is anything like other occasions it has happened then we won’t have long to get there. Maybe a few minutes at best.
Elizabeth shoots a glance at him but he ignores her presence as the vision that pierced his brain moments earlier continues to replay in his mind. The Kindred member can remember every detail vividly and this makes him even more fidgety as he waits for the lights to change. Eventually they do and Lucas and Elizabeth are able to cross the road uninhibited. He instantly marches off to the left and slips into a dark alleyway. The Sanguinist follows him into the gloom. She instantly spots a Harley Davidson motorcycle and her brow furrows in confusion, having no previous knowledge of her friend’s vehicle of choice. He motions for her to get on the motorbike. Lucas only has one helmet and he throws it to his friend, indicating that she should put it on.

The sweet sanguinist does her best not to take offense at her friend’s lack of communication in this urgent situation. She had always thought his determination a delightful personality trait and envied his resolve. Elizabeth catches the helmet he tosses her way and stares down at it for a moment, gulping anxiously. She had never been a fan of modern technology, which is why she didn’t own a car of her own. In fact, she hated the sensation of her body in motion at high speeds despite any effort on her part and she couldn’t seem to get any of today’s electronic devices to respond to her desires. Lucas gives her an expectant expression, his brow raised quizzically, and she grins sheepishly before depositing the protective gear upon her noggin. She hadn’t realized he meant to go to the scene of the crime, the vampiress had been expecting to go to the bar before anything else, and Elizabeth wonders momentarily if they will be able to intervene whatever atrocity her companion witnessed in his vision, “okay, we’re doing this, I’m doing this… I am going to ride a motor bike and we're going to stop this abomination.”
She settles onto the back of the motorcycle and wraps her arms around his waist, “I hope you know what you’re doing.”
The engine of the terrible apparatus roars to life between her legs and Beth squeals in fear and surprise. Her grip tightens around her fellow Kindred member's midsection and she buries her face in the fabric of his shirt, the vampiress now sure of her impending doom. Elizabeth can't believe Lucas has gotten her on this thing, if only Amadeus could see her now. A bitter sweet chuckle flutters passed her tangerine lips and her eyes sparkle with lipid tears that threaten to overflow from their lash barrier. I can do this and we're going to stop this terrible evil, I'll make you proud. The vampire nods her head sharply and her surprisingly powerful grip on Lucas loosens, allowing her friend's abdomen to relax.

The motorbikes engine thunders tremendously as Lucas throttles the engine experimentally. This causes Elizabeth to squeal with fright, earning an uncommon grin to appear on the features of her counterpart. However, the humour is short lived as the Warrior shakes his head and replaces the smile with a look of intense concentration. He squints as he tries to read the quickly retreating vision for a sense of the place. After a few seconds of concentration, the Kindred member nods once to himself and kicks the Harley Davidson into gear. The squeal of the tire on the concrete erupts loudly before it jolts forwards. Elizabeth buries her face into her friend’s back as the vehicle tears off into the evening traffic of New York City.
Lucas considers shouting something conciliatory to her but realises this would be a futile exercise. The wind whips past both their heads at speed and the Vampire turns into a mouse-like figure as the motorbike continues to gain speed. The traffic soon begins to build up on a busy intersection ahead and Lucas slows the vehicle down and begins weaving his way through traffic. The hubbub of the cars and pedestrians around them can be heard as the city’s night life begins to get underway. This however is all an afterthought for him and the Justice Demon in his mind. Lucas shakes his head, not believing his rash actions again and yet when demons were allowed to spread their infectious blight to an innocent, he could not help himself. He always responded to Demon threats, regardless of risk.
After a few more minutes, and what must seem like an eternity for the Vampiress, the two Kindred Warriors finally arrive and the stench of evil is immediately apparent. From within Lucas, the Justice spirit stretches forth an intangible hand and confirms what his host already knew to be true. A demon had been here, and it was a powerful one. Perhaps it still resided in the mind of someone unfortunate enough to have been close to it. Elizabeth dismounts the motorbike shakily and Lucas holds up her slender frame, preventing her from falling. He drops his voice to a low volume.
I’m sorry I was so abrupt but when it comes to Demons, I can’t stop myself. Now, I don’t know how much experience you’ve had with their kind but this could be very dangerous. If you have any questions before we go in then go right ahead. I really am sorry for dragging you here instead of hearing back from the Kindred but we might be able to do some good here that a few hours delay may have rendered impossible.
A concerned look for his counterpart is betrayed on his face. Elizabeth is blind to this as she clumsily removes the helmet. When she gazes on Lucas this has been replaced with his usual steely repose. She shakes her head, an unknown thought at the back of her mind.

"...A life without love-" Elizabeth Eberstark Despite her friend being a very apt driver, Elizabeth feels as if her stomach is poised to climb right up her throat and jump out of her mouth. The Kindred member feels completely miserable on this damnable doo-dad, but she does her best to move smoothly with the bike. Unfortunately, her hair thrashes about in the wind, emerald tress that had felt silky and inviting just moments before morphing into horrible stinging whips that lick her exposed flesh. The relief she feels when the terrible contraption comes to a halt cannot be properly described in words and it takes a tremendous measure of self control not to kiss the asphalt for returning to her feet again. Elizabeth imagines the demon couldn’t be half as bad as the ride here, but immediately laughs inwardly at such a ridiculous thought having crossed her mind. The Vampire glances in Lucas’ direction and catches the expression he is giving her before it melts away to a solemn one. He doesn’t think I can handle this, I saw that look he was giving me… Does he see me as a fragile girl or a powerful Vampire… Perhaps if I acted more like Adalrich... Or Kain. I'm a thousand years old, but I act like a twenty something girl at times...The sweet sanguinist’s face contorts in a mixture of disappointment and embarrassment, she had hoped he would think more of her, but then she did act quite foolish in his presence. Lucas is my only true friend, if I cannot be myself around him, then who? Her legs feel like noodles as they struggle to familiarize themselves with the ground again and her expression softens graciously as her comrade steadies her wobbling form with his strong hands. Her voice comes out in a barely audible whisper, responding subconsciously to Lucas’ lowered volume, “there’s no need to apologize dear friend, I understand and I will always stand by your side, we can do this... Together. I have some experience dispatching demon possessed, cut off the head or pierce the heart with silver… It’s the same for most Non-Humans… Though I can’t say I’ve ever-“Her head arcs, the nostrils of her nose flaring as they taste the air, “encountered such a strong scent before… I definitely haven’t faced a powerful Demon Possession; the few I have encountered were easily defeated. I would suggest an EMP, but we wouldn’t want to affect you.”A noise assaults the vampiress’ ears, her back arching like a frightened cat and her hand instinctively darting for the KM 2000 holstered beneath her dress on the outside of her upper thigh. The silver blade sings joyously as its owner grazes its surface, Beth smiling as the metal of the knife starts to irritate her skin, and then fade when she grips its base. Her brilliant eyes gaze upon her companion momentarily, her expression an attempt to reassure him of her confidence and determination. Elizabeth then returns her attention to the task at hand, her piercing orbs to searching in the direction the noise came from. "Is like a tree without blossoms or fruit." (It may be lame, but I am going to start decorating my posts for my own amusement.)

Lucas nods with grim satisfaction as Elizabeth withdraws her weapon of choice, clearly approving of the flinty exterior that she is currently presenting. The Vampire smiles wanly before Lucas gives a curt, and almost rude, nod. He jogs over to the door of the building and doesn’t even bother knocking on the door. He hefts a foot into the wooden surface but it remains closed. He proceeds to kick it again. This immediately yields a shower of wooden splinters from around the lock and the door slams inwards revealing a dimly lit staircase leading up. A light can be seen shining on the landing and the Kindred member doesn’t even hesitate to take in his surroundings. He instantly pounds up to the stairs and extracts a pair of vicious looking daggers.
Elizabeth exhibits a cooler head and grace under pressure as she allows her partner to tackle upstairs. She begins to drift around the lower floor, checking one room at a time for any sign of the demon or anything that would make this ordeal any more difficult. She remains downstairs for a few minutes until she is certain that there are no nasty surprises waiting for them. She then joins her partner and gulps nervously, not sure what to expect.
Lucas scans every room quickly after he reaches the landing, the Justice Spirit stretching forth an invisible hand. The taint of evil comes back strongly from the only room with a closed door. The Kindred Warrior has an almost delighted grin on his face as he crosses the corridor and slowly puts a hand on the door knob. The door begins to rattle noisily in the frame and a high pitched squeal can be heard from within. It pierces Lucas’ mind before retreating back into the silence. He turns the handle and swings the door open to find three children, two boys and one girl, all huddled in the centre of the room while the parents have been bound and gagged and are lying supine on the bed. Lucas hears the footsteps of Elizabeth and a sharp intake of breath before she dives into the room and works on freeing the adults. Her counterpart kneels by the children and looks solemnly at them.
The Warrior places a hand on the child in the centre and can feel a trace of evil but the demon has fled from her mind. Lucas looks around at her brothers suspiciously. One of them abruptly places a hand on the Kindred’s forehead and a surge of energy passes between the two of them. An evil cackle is heard as Lucas’ body goes rigid. He suddenly finds himself flung against a wall and the Justice demon flares to life as an internal battle begins to be fought.

"...A life without love-" Elizabeth Eberstark In a flurry of emerald locks she rounds the corner, stepping into the room after Lucas, and looking on in shocked horror at the scene before her. The air flutters from Beth’s chest, her bright blue green orbs bounce from one child to the next, and then her settling on their bound guardians. Sick sons of bitches, this is exactly why The Order must be stopped. She runs for the prone forms of the children’s parents, her weapon releasing a metallic screech as it is freed from its sheath and aptly slices through the adults’ restraints. Finally, she pulls the gags from their mouths and before she can utter a word the panicked parents begin begging for mercy. “Please, don’t hurt our children! Let us go, we won’t tell anybody what we saw! PLEASE!”
Elizabeth is taken aback, her eyes widening in shock, can’t they tell when somebody is saving them… Humans. The Vampiress shakes her head vigorously, “No, no, we’re here to help-“
The sound of a body colliding forcefully with the hallow wall behind her derails her thoughts and Elizabeth halts her response to their outburst, turning to inspect what the source of the ruckus could be. The sweet sanguinist gasps in surprise, her gaze falling upon the rigid form of her companion, and she darts to her friend’s side. Meanwhile, the frightened humans take the opportunity to scoop up their precious offspring and escape through the open door of the bedroom. However, Elizabeth pays them no heed, her hand slowly stretching to lightly touch Lucas’ shoulder. As soon as their flesh connects the strange force that had been holding him against the wall seems to release its grasp and her friend falls into her outstretched arms. Beth can hear him mumbling and the heat radiating from his body is almost too much for the Vampiress to bare, “Lucas!!! Lucas please! Are you alright, speak to me!”
Elizabeth gives his limp form a shake, but he does not respond. Tears begin streaming down her face, associating her friend’s current predicament with some shortcoming on her part, but had there been any way to avoid this? Was there honestly anything at all she could have done? Choking back sobs the Kindred member drops to her knees with her friend in her arms, “We just had to come here didn't we, perhaps we played right into the hands of the demon in your vision...”
"Is like a tree without blossoms or fruit."

As the pain continues to tear through his body, Lucas inwardly absorbs his partner’s words and nods through the agony. The Vampiress hovers over him as his body writhes and thrashes and every synapse in his body screams their protestations at him. Lucas merely shuts his eyes in a vain attempt to nullify the pain. Elizabeth begins to panic, unsure what she should be doing in this situation and after a few moments of watching her friend helplessly a crackle of energy is emitted from the centre of his chest. His torso begins to burn a bright blue and it quickly consumes the entirety of his body. The smell of sizzling flesh accompanies the light show and once it is over, Lucas slumps to the floor. The Sweet Sangunist leans in and touches his cheek gingerly. At her touch, the Kindred Warrior takes a sharp intake of breath.
Well that was fun. I haven’t experienced that for almost a century and I’m not keen to repeat the experience.
His joking has the net result of drawing an irksome expression on his counterpart’s face and she slaps him on the shoulder. The pain from it is added to the overall sensation that is still lingering from his impromptu possession. He smiles more to himself before gritting his teeth against the worst of the prevailing ache. He adjusts position and shakily gets back to his feet.
I think you are right about one thing though. That demon is definitely a lot smarter than its younger cousins and it lured us here. I don’t know what its ultimate purpose was but I should have listened to you. Next time we go straight to the Kindred council and any hair brained schemes on my part to tackle it head on go out the window.
Lucas leans on his friend again as they begin making their way to the staircase. They stop half way to the door as a thought strikes the Warrior of Justice and it gives him pause for thought. He looks into his friend’s innocent face before speaking.
It was almost too easy. This definitely deserves looking into. And for the record Elizabeth, I’m proud of you.

Patrick watches the two walk away for a moment a memory flashes through his host mind. A song from the current days that seems to scream in his mind. He follows after them for awhile and places a hand on the shoulder of the vampiric creature before him. Even with his irish accent the message he sends to her should be clear.
"Stand up... If your broken... Stand up if you feel ashamed. You are not alone when you hurt this way. Stand up... Stand up if you need love... Stand up.,. This is not judgement day. You don't have to hide... There's no need to run... Everything will be ok."
Those white orbs stare at the vampire for a moment and he gives her a soft smile.
"Lead the way Lass... How can I call myself Fide IF I don't put a little bit o' Faith in others?"
